Secret Dialogues

When awakening came along with it came....the epiphany moment.  That epiphany moment would become an extended period that might last for hours, days, perhaps even weeks.  This state was where I felt immersed in an accelerated sense of awareness.  I will tell you that I LIKE these states even though sometimes they have left me feeling a little frazzled around the edges. All of my central insights have come from these sessions in the silence. Most of the ones that came while I was working on the book Waking The Infinite were incorporated as a way to help explain the nature of reality and our roles here as co-creators.

Today as I worked in the yard I dropped into another of these reveries.  I was cutting the grass and coming up the hill and was watching very closely for things NOT to run over while mowing.  It began:

You do know that chakras are actually the basis of all energy systems, right?

What do you mean?

Here, let me show you:  if you know about the chakras, what is their most basic operation or underpinning?"  It does not wait for me to answer but continues "The chakra is actually part of a toroidal pattern that is common with all electromagnetic fields and reveals the presence of both the negative and positive fields in one.  ALL matter has these fields.  Every atom has it."

I was then shown how nonliving objects have these chakras, that this was not dependent on living material although with living material the energy is accelerated a good degree.  There is more organization, reliance on other parts for the whole, and most often more energy produced, used, and processed.

I thought this was for all living things.  I thought the chakra system existed only in living things.

the chakra system is more developed in living things, but the chakra system is not built on the concept of life but on energy.  As a result, it dips into energy fields, electrical activity and radiation and frequency.  I wont tell you that an atom has a seen-fold chakra system.  However, without atoms, you would not have chakras.  Each atom has its method of drawing in energy. An atom is NOT a static quanta of energy.  It appears to be set and stable but is in truth changing all the time.  It is more that an atom has the same potential energy all the time in the same way that a river has the same amount of water able to flow through it at any given time. Without this pulsation or movement of energy through it, the atom would cease to be.  All things are designed to be carrier or conduits for energy.  Even your atoms.  Especially your atoms!

Each chakra will have a positive and negative aspect.  One will draw inward and one will draw outward.  One will bring in energy while another will send out.  One side is positive and one side is negative.  One is masculine, the other feminine.  One active, one is receptive.  This sets up a torus or field around itself.

There are boundless chakras, but the seven main ones are the ones most people know in peoples' bodies.  Your body is made up of minuscule chakras all through it.  If you want to know how many chakras you have look at your skin and observe each pore.  AT LEAST that many chakras do you have on your body and more deeper down.  These are much like how nerves or the vascular system is integrated into the body and are as numerous as the capillaries, veins and arteries and are also built in similar fashion (the seven main chakras are like the trunk of the arteries for example).  Everything brings in energy and sends it out.  All of life, even non-sentient, is alive in its own way.  It has to be.  The energy within all things is itself sentient or alive even if the material according or your science does not deem it alive.  It is nonetheless very much aware, just not with eyes or ears or skin to feel it. The universe is alive.

Dealing With Blocks

Do you know what it feels like to be blocked?  I was almost two years into my awakening before I realized just how blocked I was.  Kundalini had begun its work and was loosening the material that had crowded itself around me. I thought things were getting better.  They were.  I was a changed man.  But awareness is a very relative thing. By being aware of how blocked I was, it led to still more removal of harder to get at material.

Certainly, the easiest material fell away first.  I could feel it. The more central material in my core, that was a different story.

I began the process of still-greater blockage removal by realizing it was there.  I began to attend a class that met twice weekly just a block from my home offered by a man who was an expert in his field. the classes cost me five dollars per two hour session. The teacher did this is a community service for the most part.  Lucky me and everyone else that took part.

The process that began in earnest in those classes, which utilized what is known as White Crane Qi Gung is the same Qi work that the Shaolin monks use.  There are many versions of Qi Gung, but all of it is based in movement. It means "energy work."  I can't say that any one type is better than another. My teacher, though, knew a lot about Chinese medicine and he was able to offer many different pointers to help facilitate the flow of Qi (Chi) through the body. The effect at first was that I felt awful.  I went away feeling clammy and more aware of how blocked I was.  This made it seem as though I was more blocked than I was.  I had merely become more consciously aware of these blocks.  I think it is important not to let yourself get down on yourself during these times of awareness.  The very fact that you are now aware is an important first step in removing the blocks!  Remember; where attention goes, so does energy, and if your intent is to remove something within,  the universe will conspire with you to see that this happens. Persistence is key.  So keep at it.

I found that the blocks I was now feeling felt like very real physical things. Around my heart there was this stony mote.  I could feel my heart scrape up against this hard surface every moment of the day.  This was maddening. It hurt.  It was hard. The pain was very real and I had no idea how to get it to stop.  In about a year in a fit of sadness, it all happened without any effort.  I felt the part of us that is known as the Observer step in and the rest was history.  It gave me just enough room to feel the forgiveness that was my own enough that this age old karmic thread was able to slip quietly into the ether never to return.  For as hard as the feeling was in my heart chakra, it did drive awareness in me in a 24/7 sort of way.  It wasn't until I gave up trying ot was at the end of my rope that the answer came.  It was swift, simple, and permanent. My heart center was then magnetized towards something very different. The effect that this had on my life was substantial. Events took a sudden turn in a new direction.  It was as though I was living in a different version of a world populated by people who were no longer attracted or affected by this thing that I had only a few days before.  Instead, a new story was unfolding.  Miraculous.

Movement has long been inculcated in the removal of past traumas.  There is a biological dynamic that happens where both etheric and physical are affected so that what lies in the energy body is also removed from the physical.  They work together so that the act of merely moving can loosen age old material in the energy body.  This material can be from lifetimes ago.  It has been observed, for example that nearly every culture on earth that knows ecstatic states (all of them actually) will tend to have a corresponding movement that goes along with it.  This can be expressed as twitches, jerks or "quakes" or shakes. The movement of the Holy Ghost is the same and Kriyas and mudras are an expression of this in the Hindu tradition. Aboriginal peoples will go into shaking fits as they reach communion with the spirits of gods.  Animals will shake after they have been attacked by larger animals all in an effort to "shake it off."  For more on this, search the archives using the search term "shaking it off" and you will find an article written over a year ago that addresses this very subject.

Staying physically active is helpful in removing blocks.  The Sufi tradition recognized the role that movement had in reaching higher states of being.  Sometimes it just FEELS good. But dance is another form that can also help, especially if you can dance ecstatically and get your body moving.  Will aerobics work?  That is a good question.  I do not see why not.  I have heard that pushing ones self physically can often break through energetic barriers to feel a deeper sense of self.  Runners often speak of hitting a wall that leads to a euphoria that give them the means to go further with less struggle.   Is this the same?  I can't say. I sure would be interested to know if anyone has experienced this and whether it had a liberating effect long after the event of the running took place.

Something about movement helps us to cognitively and emotionally rid ourselves of past issues that we have been holding onto for a while.  I notice that it gets me out of my thoughts and into my body, which is a peaceful place to be.  Here, with the mind silenced, you can simply be with the body as these small miracles happen drop by drop. This is not an intellectual pursuit, so keep the mind out of it.  This is much more a fundamental exercise.  Let it do its work without needing to know or understand.  It works.  That should be enough for your mind to chew on.

Part 2

There is another aspect to removing blocks that can also be very helpful.  I discovered the effectiveness of this as a result of my own work professionally in art.  I am a glassblower and my work is very physical.  It fuses grace, brawn, and skill in an act that is itself alchemical if you know how to let it work for you.  In these early sessions I found myself channeling different energetic aspects of myself.  Whenever I say "energy" I also mean consciousness. Always.  For energy is itself aware and you can feel into this when you know how to feel deeply.  A deep surrender ensues and all turns to bliss.

But less than the movement used in my work is the power that creative energy has on us. In the same way that movement can help to remove old material, so too can the flow of creative energy.  Having said that, tantric energy also has the same effect.  All of these aspects all happen to have a lot of energy as a hallmark of their presence in your life. you can literally fuse them together in an intuitive way to make them work for you in a powerful way.

So creative energy is very closely aligned to sexual energy.  It opens you up and allows you to feel yourself more deeply.  It leads you into that most beautiful part of you that awaits for that touch fo the divine that we are.  This can lead to a pulse of life so amazingly wonderful you will wonder how you ever lived without it. All you need to feel it is to become inspired. That is the core of all art.  But being inspired is also the same as being turned on sexually.  Both of these states have the same elements attached; we let go of the mind and begin to FEEL.

When I teach my students in art and when I work in the studio in glass with people taking classes, I do everything I can do to keep thinking from getting in the way.  If you are of the opinion that you have to THINK in order to create; stop. Right now, put away that idea because it has no place in all of this.  Trust me.  In the same way that you let go all thoughts and just allow yourself to surrender in an act of intimate love, so too do you do the same exact thing when you are creative.  The feeling of the energy is different, yes, but not terribly.  We get excited and feel happy in both states.  We do this because it is what we are.  the act of becoming inspired is itself the shepherd to your core self.  Let it do its great work.  As you open up you can imagine or even feel those hard shells fall away from the outer parts of your being.  You become vulnerable, perhaps the most vulnerable you have ever been.  Let it be that way.  No one is here to hurt you. Be soft and feel yourself.  It is here that you are in this ancient current of the divine.  It is your soulfulness that you are bathing in.  You are infinite, and here you get to settle down into your pure essence.  Revel in that.

Be like a child.  Stop feeling like you hve to put the brakes on everything.  All of these things are the very things that my students show me are their biggest hurdles and they have been mind, too. When I stop thinking about WHAT to do that it all just comes down like some giant download of information.  be a channel for this energy.  You will feel enraptured, enlivened, and renewed.  It will feel so good that you wont want to stop.  And why should you?  the challenge I p9ut to you is to learn how to channel this energy all the time.  This is what you are, and what you are learning to become.

So use your imagination. What I do to get there is consider what would I make if I had all he money in the world.  No limits.  I think of how I once had a kingdom at my command and these people, whom I loved so much and who loved me, were willing to do just about anything for me.  I had such a rich supply of resources. We built temples in the forest.  We quarried stone and we decorated it with beautiful colors. I think back on those days and it helps me to realize that when i loosen up what i think is possible inside of me that the flow of inspiration just begins.  I have no thought in these moments. I have no idea what will come.  I direct it, yes, through my interest and desire, but I also am careful to allow accidents to happen.  I do this as a signal or cue to the higher self to step in.  My accidents are always full of discovery as a result.  I know this may sound haphazard to some, but because I intend it to be an entry point for the higher self, it quite naturally does.  It works because i believe that it can.  In order for it to work for you, you have to carry the same belief or else it might not work.   These events are very good for bringing in new ideas that I hadn't considered before.  There are simply no accidents in my experience.  But you have to be able to let go enough for this kind of magic to happen.

As you do this work, you fuse your physicality with your energetic being in creating something.  In just the same way that making love can lead to creating new life, creating art leads to the creation of new forms of "life" which are embodied as ideas. We can quite literally break down old cognitive barriers that lead to new ways of seeing and feeling. When you still thought, you give this inspired moment the room to move in you.  Most great artists know this, but it is not taught as a methodology in schools. The students that have the most problem with art are those that are worrying about how it all will turn out.  You simply have to allow yourself to play and enjoy it, like a child does.  You CAN do this. Stop being so serious for a bit!  you do not create by ploughing seriously through the process but in surrender.  Your mind opens, your body and hands take a more receptive posture.  Then it slips through you like a small boat slips through the watery waves of your awareness.  First one, then another.  Here being in the moment, being present, is important. Then, still thought so you can feel your energy.  Just feel it.  You don't have to do ANYTHING with it. Just let it be for now.  It will get you excited.  This is the coming of inspiration.  It will show you that there is nothing to fear in letting go like this.

The body gets in the act.  The two energies of the universal current begins to move.  the yin and yang merge both in your energy field and your physical body.  The brain, a mirror of the masculine and feminine aspects of the universe begin to work together.  The linear more masculine left brain takes the wildly imaginative yet almost formless right brain material and gives it a voice or a form.  The right brain sees the big picture and the left sees the details.  It sees the leaves and cell structures, but it gets lost in the forest.  the right brain sees the scales of form in great volume. Together, when they work perfectly, it is like tantric union except this is the creative act of birthing new ideas and forms in the world. Here, you are in your element.  I can hear the protestations now: "But I am not creative!"

Of course you are.  Maybe you cannot draw a perfect nude or a still life.  But you ARE creative.  In your own way, it is what you are.  It is what we all are. It is not an "art thing" that makes for creativity.  But I have a neat trick to help with that when it comes to art making.  I have glass.

Ornaments, Parker Stafford
Glass is a material that, in its molten state, glows with a life of its own.  It is an amazing material.  it is also difficult to control, which for our use today is perfect. I use the molten plasticity of glass to keep people anchored in the moment.  This works!  Your focus with the glass is so total that your mind has the opportunity to go quiet.  People have told me that they like doing glass because it forces them to think of nothing else but the glass.  This is a lot like zazen or other meditative states. You can FEEL your energy in moments like these.  The other side to glass is that when you flow with it, it looks beautiful.  In fact, you can dribble glass onto the floor and it will look fantastic.  How can you go wrong with a material like this?  The simpler you are, the more its essence comes through.  Just let it do what it does naturally.  Colors are brilliant, and the glass sparkles and shines. Everyone who has tried glass for the first time have all been surprised with the beautiful results of the glass they have made at the studio.  This serves as a way to trim away all of those thoughts of their not being creative.  With glass anyone can make beautiful things.  It also doesn't need to be anything other than it is.  Sometimes an ornament winds up looking like a planet or world from some other realm.  It is interesting to look at.  Sometimes I just gaze at the ornaments on my own Christmas tree and see all of the wild details I had missed just a year ago.  The funkier and wilder, the better.  You see, glass can show you what is possible when creating blown forms.

Nautilus bowl detail, Parker Stafford

In no other instance does it feel like Christmas then when we open the kilns where the glass we blew the day before we placed so they could cool slowly.  It has been over fifteen years and each time there is an excitement to see what is going to come out.  You'd think after hundreds of tons of glass made in my studio so far that I might get jaded.  But it doesn't ever seem to grow old.  Every day that has something waiting in the annealing ovens is a day where there is something new to discover.

My work in the studio is designed now, when it comes to teaching others, to help set their wild horses free.  One moment we are doing a large sun catcher and moments later it becomes a ribbed tendril that get placed in a flower garden or hung with others as a light fixture or placed on a stake near a door to greet all who enter with its crystalline beauty.

Nested Yin Form, Parker Stafford
My work in the studio discipline is not hard. It is deceptively easy.  It is about feeling into it.  The power of this is realized in how you feel as a result. It sounds like it is too simple, but it is in the simplicity of it that the effects are achieved.  It is in letting it happen to you that is the key.  When the mind gets out of it, something else gets into it.  Sure, you have to keep molten glass balanced on the end of a four foot metal rod, but in my work I am there telling the person what to do next. I don't map it out first in order to keep their mind out of it and simply engaged as it watches what happens as it all unfolds.  It is an approach that works very well. It is not always best for seasoned blowers who need to understand a complicated series of movements, but it is very effective for ferrying beginners through the process without building anxiety over the many steps or things they will be doing. In this way people tend to maintain a form of engagement that is very good for what I am seeking to help them achieve.  Just feeling good about making something beautiful itself has a very positive effect on a person. Fear goes away.  Creativity does not do every well in the presence of fear.  Like love, creativity and fear do not mix.  One closes you down, the other opens you up.

Absent having glass as a moving modality for healing, you can do anything that lights your creative fire.  It can literally be anything.  Writing, drawing, dreaming, singing, dancing, writing music, or rearranging the house.  Working on the car.  Any act can be one of creation if you know where to look.  Then, cultivating a life that is passionate and engaged will keep your energy moving in you.  You can also observe those times when you feel suddenly bereft of creative fire and consider what it was that happened inside of you in those times that caused that to happen and learn to avoid that kind of thinking in the future.  I can tell you that my experience is that anything that causes me to pull back from life in anything less than a full embrace is what kills my creative fire.  Sometimes it is just a stray thought that turns in me that my ego get to work on and then after a while a very small thing turns into something big.  There I go again! I remind myself. I then just get myself worked back into a state of energetic excitation and suddenly the world glows with a new life.  This is a moment by moment cultivation of the very force of life in the day to day.  This is learning to bring heaven to earth. It is, after all, a worthy cause.

Chakras and New Awareness

I would like to expand your awareness a little today.  Breathe deep if you have to and be ready to consider something new.

Consider that a lot that we know has been handed down to us.  We tend not to trust our feelings or our own awareness or capacity to simply know.  So I am going to offer you this one treat and ask that you carry it within to see how it helps you to see anew. When you consider that the world is not set in concrete and that your own thinking need not be either, can you be free to see more broadly.  This is the cutting edge of your being.  One thing that we have been told by those who have come before is that the chakras represent a gradual migration of the soul into ever higher realms of awareness.

I am going to suggest to you that this is just not so.  But in order for you to know this for yourself, you have to give it a chance.  A good chance.  So here goes.

Yes, you have chakras.  Yes, they have different frequencies of vibration. As a result of this certain issues or characteristics tend to migrate to those chakras.  It is the Law of Attraction.  Like attracting like.  Simple.  Straightforward.  But who says that the crown chakra is the penultimate of our experience?  Our ancestors have.  Why buck tradition. right?  Well, consider that awareness changes, expands, over time. Just like the universe is said to expand. You are going to have to allow your old biases to be set aside for a moment to consider something truly remarkable here.  It can have a deep impact on you if you let it. So be like a child for a moment.  Consider there is something amazing yet to discover.

I have used Thales the Presocratic philosopher before in explaining a sense i have about the way the universe is ordered, which is that everything that is has its higher expression.  Everything that is is energetically, like a cone.  Yes, a cone.  This cone expands outward into larger and larger scopes.  Thales, who I quote once said "All things are full of gods."  It is my feeling that he meant the same thing; that all things have their higher expression, and that the atom or quark has its own god.  I don't mean god or goddess in the usual way we are used to thinking of it (as something outside of us) but rather that we ourselves have our own higher expression of ourselves in eternity.

Now I know this might be a hard one to grasp for the first time. So I will suggest to you that time itself is not quite what we think it is.  Sure, we experience it in the way we normally do, which is a linear progression where events follow each other in a neat and orderly fashion.  Certainly.  However, the bigger picture is that our time is itself a subset of a still larger expression of time as an ever expanding present.  People who have had NDE's (Near Death Experiences) have all expressed their sense of this Present as eternity.  Jane Robert's Seth also spoke about this Present and that time itself is largely illusory.  It isn't that it isn't real.  It serves a purpose, but it has a way of going by the wayside to a certain extent when you reach into higher forms of consciousness.  You aren't stopping time here, it still marches on. However, you can begin to glimpse different aspects of time.  You can see into the future.  Time can slow way way down or speed up unimaginatively fast.  This is not just an a trick of the mind. it is how we choose to perceive it.  So there is more to time than just what we have here.  And in the same way, there is more to you than meets the eye.  there is a god and goddess within, a larger expression of yourself which you can and will encounter as you move along this road to higher forms of consciousness.  It is a given. It is not some egoistic illusion where you hope for some grander form of your ego existing, no.  It is just what is.  Your consciousness expands "outward" as you are ready to experience that part of what you are.

The same is true for your energy system.  The root chakra is thought of as the denser of all vibrations.  But this is not true.  Neither is the crown the ultimate in human experience.  The reason why this is so is because each part of you, each particle of your being and awareness has its higher expression.  The root chakra, then, is made up of layers.  I recently mentioned them in the post a few below this one as being the Hindu concept of the Sheaths.  Or layers.  Like an onion.

So what I want you to try is to feel deeply within all levels of your being to tap the inner divine in you.  the crown certainly has its role to play in this, but so does every other part of you.  the chakras are like highways for broad currents to flow but you also have countless smaller vortices's or chakras all throughout your body.  In fact, if you were to see them as I have seen them, you would know that the body is a vast webwork of energy lines that get so small that they resolve into a kind of glow.  Leylines of the self, let's say.  But this energy system is also nonlocal, which also means for the physicist that it has not one location in space time.  It can be anywhere and everywhere.  This is part of precognition and intuitive insight.  Here you are, and you are everywhere.  But your awareness and focus tend to be a bit limited, so this will take some focus in order to being streaming it in.

What keeps you from experiencing the divine union in anything other than the crown is your own focus.  So begin focusing gently on each center and see or feel how each center is itself connected to the divine.  This isn't something that is hard to do because it is in truth what you are.  What will keep you from glimpsing the divine at each level are your own blinders, your own shame or guilt or lack of self esteem.  The plus in all of this is that by focusing and doing this little piece of work, you also wind up clearing out your inner attic of any unnecessary material. Your own inventory of junk that is best released.  And as this happens, you feel the divine ever more clearly.  this then leads to still greater awareness and this can lead to a cascading effect within you.  All you have to do is to consider it a possibility.  That, and you may have to lay aside what you thought you knew for this radical thought I am offering you.  I promise you, it wont lead you down some primrose path.  If you are honest and let the junk go free, you can begin to glimpse this reality.  To do so means embracing all that you are unconditionally.  You are worth this moment "in time" to do this.  And if you are easy with yourself, you can begin to glimpse the reality that these words contain.

So no technique or method; you know the way.  It is native to you.  Just be quiet and feel your energy.  Let it flow through you and just let yourself float.  Feel each center begin to lighten and shimmer as its great truth is revealed. Feel into it.  Do not think.  Just be.  that is the best technique I can give you.  The way to this awareness is what you are deeper down.  So let yourself go deep.  Feel the shimmering energy within you and don't try to make it do anything.  Just let it BE.

The idea that there is only one center that is touched by god or goddess is itself a form of separation. Prime Creator is in EVERYTHING, so it makes perfect sense that its presence can be sensed in the wind, in the water, in the glisten in an eye, and in every fiber of your being.  So let those fibers speak to you.  Let yourself listen for a while.  And let me know how it goes.  :-)

Layers

This experience is one of layers.

The Light Body is seemingly switched on, and with it comes awareness.  With it is a churning effect of the energy of awakening.

At first, I felt the material fall away quite easily.  These were like the dry buds of a flower. I could feel the energy helping me do this.  I did not have to do anything, they just went.  I was keenly aware that if I was to do anything, it was to observe the things that were being sent on their way.  I recognized them, blessed them, and they were gone.  Just like that.  I could feel myself lighten more. I could feel channels within opening up.  I felt clearer.  Happier.  The energy could be felt deeper.  I felt like something was burrowing into me.  Through the layers.

I am not one who believes in a process, but I know that this can be very much a process.  I do not contradict myself.  The authentic opening is a process, yes, but in seeking to apply some outside process or method, this does not work necessarily. What works is letting go. This is what it is all about.  The more you can do this, the better things have been.  It is said that the energy must go from root to crown in order for the energy to be raised properly.  Once kundalini or awakening stirs in you, I think it is difficult to not have it change you.  So changed, how can things ever be the same?  the yeanring, the ultimate one, is the love of the divine.  It pulls you along on an ox cart at first through endless towns and experiences until the ox cart becomes a chariot and sets you down by a vast ocean.  This is where it all began, this is where it all begins.  The problem with cleaving to some method or teaching is you could miss some important points.  For example, Awakening does cause a stirring, but it is not always linear.  it is not always so orderly.  It can be orderly, but it can be just what it needs to be, you see?  So trust.  Also, as it goes from root to crown and clears out on its first complete pass, it can begin all over again.  This is just the outer layers. You go deeper and deeper each time.  So on one pass you might have some trouble with one chakra or center in the body in the release of associated energy or karma or knots in that chakra only to find that once the course has been run, you are back in that same chakra again.  What happened?  Didn't I just win some great victory in my life letting of of this material months before only to wind up back in the place again?

Feel into yourself.  Ask yourself if this is the same chakra or the same issue.  In each chakra there are many layers.  Like an onion.  As you work along, you might even have images of layers.  I did.  I had image after image of layers surrounding people, like dense cloaks, many layers. The trick was to burrow down through them all.  Like ripples on the ocean, there are rings or layers.  So do not feel defeated if you wind up in the same place again.  The trouble or issue wont be the same as before.  It will be different.  It might be associated by virtue of what that center aligns to energetically, but it is like a series of dimensions or rooms one nesting inside the other.  Layer by layer you do this releasing as you come closer and closer to something miraculous. Outward these rings expand in ever greater or broader dimensions, into more refined territory of being.  Each layer has the chakra energy flowing or shining through it and yet each layer will have different material.  This is all your awareness.

This is how it is.  This is not a race, it is what you are.  As you move along, you refine more and more.  It is endless.  It is infinite.  There is no end to you, there is no end to this.  There is nothing but a great adventure awaiting you.  It is a discovery of your authentic self.

So let yourself peel back.  Let those veils or layers fall away.  They are petals that no loner carry life.  Let the suffering of your soul no longer be.  This, I remind myself each and every day.  I hum it in my mind, I think it, I am absorbed by it and am absorbed into it.  It is my prayer, a constant state of being and seeking.  Always returning to the inner self, to the self beyond time and space yet existing within it.  This self is absorbed by love and is love.  The path through this is forgiveness.  When you can forgive yourself and no longer point to something outside yourself as the cause, you will speed along.  Accept your part, and when you do, you will also trigger awareness of what you are as divine.

Whatever path you take, whatever you believe or decide is true, I wish you the very best of journeys.

The Light Body

The Light Body.

We all have one.  And its presence for many is a bit of a mystery.  You can't see it.  You can't taste it (although we are taking bets what that would be like), you can smell or hear it.....and yet......it is there. Hidden for most yet providing them with their awareness as a sentient being, their very existence.

And you have one.  For most, it is largely in slumber.  You can feel its effects, though, but the brilliance of the light body will utterly startle you were it to be turned up to its highest volume.  So, awakening the light body happens in steps.  Its gradual.  Its illuminating can happen over years, in truth.  Lifetimes.  I am not here to give you a bunch of new age lingo, but to keep it to the point.

The Light Body isn't physical.  It is energy, pure and simple.  So as a result, it has no mass.  This means it can be anywhere and anywhen.  Truly.  No mass means you CAN move through time.  I have done this many times through my lifetime.  The only problem with these kinds of excursions is being able to figure out what the date is, or that its actually a time shift.  If you go a month into the future, the experience does not present itself as anything other than a very ordinary day out.  If you were to go hundreds of years into the future, you MIGHT notice a difference.  If you go a thousand years into the future, consider its possible that humankind has seen technology as a dead end and have learned to live without it, in which case you might feel like you are dreaming or experiencing the past.  Its just hard to know for sure without picking up a newspaper.  So, you see, these things are not so simple, and are not always obvious. And in not knowing, you only are able to identify it AS IT HAPPENS, which is to say you may not recall the dream of last week or month as being precognitive until the event happens in physical life to you later. I never knew I was having a precognitive dream.  There was always the inevitability of being surprised that THAT dream was the one that was foretelling events.    My travel has been both backwards and forwards.  The forwards portion has always been difficult to identify. Some events that I have seen were entirely unanticipated, and I did not have enough context to be able to determine where I was.  All of my time excursions have taken place in the dream state.  And still, there is enough awareness to know that something was taking place.  Just not WHEN.  Anyway.  You get the idea, right?

We are now learning of theories that are saying that all matter is actually made up of energy that is already moving at the speed of light. When you turn on the light switch, for example, the electrons move at light speed.  So does light.  But matter, being a form of energy, also does this. But wait, you say, how can that be?  The way the theory goes, a particle is merely an entrained wave of energy.  In truth, according to this interesting theory is that all of matter is made up of waves that have been entrained so they wind up seeming permanent or physical.  What does that mean?

Think of a light wave forced to run in circles.  It SEEMS to slow down when in truth it is actually traveling at the speed of light RIGHT HERE.  So think of a dog on a chain. They run so fast....and in the process they make a blur that builds the appearance of solidity. Does that help? So the point here is everything is energy.  When the light body wakes up, when your awareness knows its true source or nature, this opens channels in the light body.  It lights up.  It becomes "activated."  Your inner sensing becomes much more acute.  This is a process.  Its like taking back your hearing after lifetimes of being deaf.  You are healing. And this is good.  You begin to feel more and more through the light body, your cosmic vehicle based on how much dross or junk you are able to remove.  Don't feel bad when you encounter it; we are all here because we have it.  Its not a sentence or a punishment.  Whether you are on earth or any other place, the law is that your life will naturally reflect what is inside of you.  Step back and observe your life.  What you wish you did not have in it can be changed by changing what it inside of you.  Its the ultimate freedom. You do not change events first, you change yourself which is involved in creating those events.  As you do this, you also feel more and more of the whirling light energy within you.  Its a glorious feeling.....and it HAS to be. Who ever heard of getting to paradise when its full of hurt or suffering?  Its the suffering part that is your karma.  There is no honor in hurt or pain even though many would like to say so.  Its the sheer volume of it that makes us want to somehow assign it some importance.  Its importance is in teaching you to no longer cleave to it.  Its your exit strategy if you let it guide you.  Your light body as it wakes up will tell yo pleasure from pain.  You will simply feel it more and more.  The trick is in learning to discern between pleasure and pain.  We get used to mixing these and call it pleasure or bliss.  Slowly, as we keep seeking, we refine and continue to feel those high peaks of bliss free from the weight of the old.  The bliss of an enlightened person may seem absolutely wonderful to the average person, and yet the enlightened person may feel strains of karma within the bliss that point her or him to their continual refining.  Its a relative thing.  Seek always....and the bliss keeps you pointed in the right direction.

The lighting up of the light body is one that moves in thresholds.  These thresholds are in fact the result of our own resistance to awareness.  When the energy "pierces" the light veil or the light body chakras, we feel the energy flood into us.  As this happens, each energy vortex that we call chakra mirrors a given frequency on a very broad range of energetic spectrum. We pick up a given range the same way our eyes pick up a given range or wavelength of energy which we call visible light.  So each vortex called a chakra is aligned or vibrates in sympathy with a given range of energy.  these get translated into certain attributes of consciousness such as emotions, for example, or certain aspects of human experience.  the heart would deal with ones own inner truth, divine love, compassion, forgiveness, for example. The vortex called the third eye would have to do with perception. So each chakra will let go and allow the flow of conscious energy to move through it in a more aware way.  Since the energy of the universe is both yin and yang, you will feel both moving up through you.  Last week I realized we actually have either two chakras or a chakra that has the yin energy balanced on one end while the other is on the other end of the chakra.  These are NOT separate, however.  They are part of each other the same way that the north and south pole on a magnet are opposite forces yet are all part of the same magnet.

As this process unfolds, it clears the chakras of material that represents old trauma and hurt from your past.  All of this is material that you have holding onto.  Some of it may be material you no longer even identify or remember. it could have been some slight or hurt from childhood.  You in actuality do not forget any of it, but you do filter it out of your main awareness of memory. Your memory, as you will find will be perfect, once the filters fall away. Your own light body will identify these knots or problems and these can be worked through a variety of ways. One way is with the help of an experienced deep tissue massage therapist  Rolfing was one of the early deep tissue methods which in truth, was a bit on the hard side, but points to how this type of work can sometimes aid in releasing pent up material that gets caught in the matrix, the weaving together of the physical and nonphysical bodies.

What is so important about the Light Body is that its your infinite vehicle.  It IS you when you leave the body.  So getting to know it can help you in the next stage.  Or, if you are really with it, you begin activating the Light Body now and it speeds up your process of lifetimes.  You glide into love and compassion faster.  You find the fulfillment of lifetimes.  Now. You discover the wonder and beauty that is your soul.  IN being active, you can see the beauty that is everyone else beneath the thin veneer of bullshit that has been spread across most of everything in this world. The bullshit is what does not serve us, that are our old hurts.  After a time, you just grow tired of having this material hanging on to you.  Feeling its presence in a whole new way once the light body is active, you often can feel very impatient to get on with the work of enlightening your being.  Heaven on earth.
