What Remains For Us

It is time to remember the Feminine in the spiritual.  Looking across the world you can see how she has been carefully hidden. For whatever the reasons, it is time that she be brought out into the bright day of our own awareness.  Hiding her only makes for unhealthy yearning and desire for what is native to each of our own beings. She rests within each atom along with her male counterpart.  They take up residence in everything and give force to that which creates form and all phenomenon. They are never not present. For it to BE they must also be.  They are IT. 

Below is an old illustration of Shakti and Shiva.  It shows how Shiva has this powerful aura around him, a nimbus, often seen as the presence of illumination, a powerful spirit, even divinity. We all have this inner light that shines through our own energetic field.

I took some time and worked on giving Shakti her own nimbus as well.  I thought it needed to be complimentary because these two forces work together so well.  So below is the result, an updated version of how things need to be....

Now tell me, is that not perfect?  Shiva's glow is radiant.  It is green, a very healing color.  Shakti is a lovely warm violet, itself very intuitive and receptive. Green in its own way is also receptive, too, and I think while different, the two now are more on par as they gaze into one anothers eyes.  You see, the music hasn't even begun....

A Radical Thought

When you read up on the experience of non duality there is a state of awareness that exists where you become aware of a vast endless ocean of a place, some have called the Tao.  This is known and commented about and the accounts are all pretty much the same. It is a formless kind of place, immersed in feeling and beyond all material existence.  This is a place of pure potential, a vast ocean of bliss.  In the works of the Savaists it is often referred to as an ocean of milk, so called because it resembles a field of orgasmic energy out of which all phenomenon flows.  This shows up in the iconography of the Hindu Shiva who has a small fountain coming out the top of his head which is in truth a seminal projection. This semen flows most often either onto the mountains where it flows like a river in small rivulets to the sea or is sometimes flowing over a small altar that depicts the masculine and feminine forms together as one.  This is so depicted because of how the energy of the cosmos feels. Because most people who experienced this were men, it has been quite natural for this depiction to have the associations that it does.  This is why also that there is this idea that seminal fluid is actually distilled into pure prana and allowed to rise up through the spine to the brain.  This is perhaps the most impossible of feats since medicine has established, without a doubt, that the nervous system and the vascular system do not cross.  It is described this way, though because of how it FEELS.  It FEELS like this fluid moving up in the body.  In fact, some practitioners (even today) teach the process of something called sublimation, which they believe is the transformation of seminal fluid into pure pranic energy which can then be used for healing and other work involving ascension.  While the specifics of this may be way off base, the essential sense of it is correct because while this is most certainly NOT seminal fluid (or cervical fluid for that matter) but simply an energy so potent that it FEELS like fluid moving in us that it gets described in this way. This should tell you how powerful and tangible these energies are, and when you feel it moving in your own body, you would swear that this is indeed the case.  Regardless of what you believe, even if you DO believe that you have seminal fluid running up your spine, you can work with this energy as it presents itself to you through visualizing it in just about ANY way that allows you to relate to it on a personal and visceral level, and since prana is itself intelligent, it will respond to your thoughts and feelings.  I am pointing this out because we create all kinds of images for a phenomenon that is entirely nonmaterial.  This, as you will see, is an important point to bear in mind as I move along.

This realm is one where there is no action.  The energy is like a highly distilled substance, a great inexhaustible ocean of energy from which we draw.  There are those who say there is nothing to do here other than to merge into the deity beyond the deity,  and that is that.

I am accustomed to digging into these things and feeling them out and asking new questions and seeking answers we may have missed.  I was once a heyhoka, a term used to describe someone who had had a dream or vision of the thunder beings.  What was so important about the heyhoka was how they struck to the center of things to ferret out their core essence.  Their hearts and souls were the lightening striking that cracks open reality and reveals in that sudden flash of knowing the center of how things are.  As an artist, I am always asking what is at the core of things?  Where does an idea emerge and how is it aligned in terms of its larger expression in the world?  We have the capacity to see in these ways, and for me it means reaching that place where things become startlingly simple and direct.  For me, some things really are very simple. Most of what we see in the world is a jumble of misunderstood things, covered in illusory matter or distortions.  How do we dig deep and find the gold lying deeper within? As an artist, this fits in very well with what I do, which is asking questions about tradition and why we choose to accept the forms and images and symbols that we do. Lying at the core of symbols is also consciousness. How we align to certain imagery also explains a lot about how we are aligned to the divine.

I seriously do feel that all of life is ordered on the yin and yang principle and as such, even the smallest particle is itself a twin of a larger form of consciousness which is itself twinned.  This twin is the yin and yang, the feminine and masculine currents that run straight through everything.  I say masculine and feminine, but these forces grow so broad that they could constitute forms that would not appear to us as being the feminine and masculine we are used to knowing here on the planet.  I would argue that this force is what gives rise to everything and so the deity itself is not some dude hanging out in the hills or clouds but is the very essence of the divine circuitry that requires a continuity with these two poles in order for it to work.  think of it like a magnet or a battery or an electrical circuit.  The energy cycles from one pole to the other.  At no point are these two forms really separate at all even though they give rise to phenomena that might seem distinguishable to our very dual perception and egos which are very good at the task of identifying, sifting, and drawing out one object from a vast field of objects. Conversely, this is why when the ego recedes, we are able to experience vast forms of consciousness and where we can touch the Tao or this ocean of vast potential.  So given this sense I have, I have something for you to consider and see where it takes you.

This vast realm of potential energy is much like the masculine in a way.....it is this pulse of pure energy that seeks some resolution or manifestation.  It is seeking the other side of itself, which is the feminine pole of itself.  In many stories, we often tend to think of a male deity form as existing in this place, somehow separate, off in the mountains or in the clouds.  This notion is not entirely out of place, even if it is itself something of a distortion of the facts.  But for the sake of understanding or relating to this vastness, consider that this sea of milk is indeed the bliss of the masculine.  There is nothing to be done here, certainly if you believe in the way that many have offered thus far. There is nothing that happens here, though, for the endless energy is in a sense incomplete, not yet reaching its fullest potential.....it is just endless bliss and that is good in its own way, but there is more to the story and this is where a very radical thought enters in.

Consider that the essence of all creation is to experience fulfillment by learning to create.  The act of creation is something that marks humans as special, as beings that have evolved to realize this capacity in their natures. But even on the individual level, if you understand the creative impulse, you will know that even in your own self, in your own body, you are bursting at the seams with the yin and yang energy entirely involved in the engine that is the very source of all creation.  Ying and yang energy in you, and in me; in all of us?  Yes.  Even in your brain, which is part of the massive system that helps to store, retrieve and then generate new ideas, you must first have BOTH the left and right hemispheres in your brain working in unison.  The left is very different from the right, and yet without them both we are not as effective creators. 

We know that when people are being creative they activate centers ALL OVER the two-lobed brain.  And these two lobes are VERY much mirrors of the masculine and feminine.  In fact, we tend to refer to them as the masculine left and the feminine right lobes.  If you know how the divine feminine works, there is nothing that could not be a better mirror for HER than the right brain.  And yet, without her partner, the left brain, who can take things apart and put them back together, who can see the tree instead of the forest, this VERY masculine left lobe is able to take the vastness that is the feminine and help to make some sense of it in a form-based way.  It is kind of interesting, too, that the feminine takes what the masculine provides or contributes, breaks it down in the same way that the ovum breaks down the sperm in the woman's body in order to utilize HIS contribution in the creation of new life. A very similar thing happens even in spiritual work, and as you dig into this you can feel the essence of it like a cord holding all of these very beautiful beads on a necklace.  You might be dealing with physical life which appears very different from creating an idea, but the principles are very much the same in ESSENCE. 

BOTH masculine and feminine are in on this act of creation in this magnificent engine that IS creativity.  It happens in our bodies when we make new life and it happens in our bodies when we are creating some new idea.  The effect is the same, or at least VERY similar.  What I am getting around to telling you is that the very radical thought here is that while we all can experience the Tao of endless potential, it is like admiring the feminine or masculine all by themselves.  You are gazing or marinating in only ONE side of a very vast and powerful cosmic coin.  I argue that in order to know divinity both within and "without" we have to go from potential to manifestation.  I say that when we do this we have made the full cycle from one end of the divine consciousness to the other.  Potential without manifestation is "useless" in a way.  Feel inside yourself.....it is a calm quiet place. 

I know; some want to say that this is merely ego wanting to get in on the act by creating something, but first I would say no it isn't and yes it is.  Ego is ALWAYS there, even those who believe they have squashed it like a bug. This is the error.  But beyond ego is also something more.....and it is here that we can know our creative potential in a much broader and much more empowered way.  It is also very beautiful if you can go at it like a child.  Don't worry if ego is in on it.  Ego is always there.  It always will be.  It is just one tool in your vast toolbox of parts.  It is not any more important than any other aspect of yourself and as long as you know how to use the tool without worshiping your tools like the end-all of who you are, you are in a very good place to go into this next "field" of being in a more mature and wise way.   I am going to suggest as an aside that this potential must then exits in all life, even non sentient  since it too is part of a divinity that is at its root creative.  What I am going to suggest to you is that up until you feel into this vast field of bliss, all you are feeling IS potential.  You are not feeling what the deity or Creator felt when it brought this vast field into actualization (or some part of it) You are only experiencing it in its state of rest prior to manifesting (or creating).  Because we are "it" in miniature form,  as individuals carved from the larger block of the divine, our task is also to draw off this energy in order to create. When potential energy meets intent, manifestation begins its FIRST leg of manifestation.  To reach full manifestation or creation, itmust also move through the feminine.  The feminine must be brought into this, and the feminine is so often seen as that force that births the world of things into being.  She is alone able to bear the spark of the masculine into its fullest potential.  Without her, "he" is merely up in those clouds very frustrated, very full of potential, and certainly probably more than just a little frustrated!   I say this in a joking way, but also in a very serious way because when creation is short circuited, frustration emerges as a very natural result.  When you look at epochs where one sexual characteristic predominated you also see a drift into distortion and even madness.  We NEED both sides of the coin in order to realize the fullness of divinity.  We NEED to create.  Creating is NOT just an egoic activity but can become what it was meant to be; a fulfillment of the divine presence.  How it happens depends on what is being created.  In some cases you may be creating on object, a book, a poem, art work, a business, a family, an idea, or a new way to assemble a motor or a theory on how something in the world works. All of this is creative....just as all of life is creative.  But we do not know the full scope of creation until we ourselves take this bliss field and make it into something.  We do this all the time to form events and to bring all of our existences into some new day or level of fulfillment.  Divinity, I say, is not complete until this is done.

When we create we bring intent into the great mystery of the feminine.  It is in her energy that we can imagine vast realms or possibilities.  Her body is the world of phenomenon, she is the Mother of the world.  So as we bring this abstract form of bliss into the world, we are entraining the masculine into the feminine currents and the result is an explosion of ideas and inspiration.  In the same way that your own inner inspiration follows the balancing of the left and right hemispheres of your brain as we have learned that the brain has to do in order to invent and to become inspired, and just as the two hemispheres of the brain mirror the masculine and feminine aspects of our dual natures and the seemingly dual nature of the cosmos, we are effectively dealing with powerful energies that can help us to bring new forms into being.  This same cycle of manifestation can be seen in how babies are made in the physical, but it is also rooted in our bodies, our brains, in how the positive energy moves to the negative, how the hot moves to the cold in thermal dynamics, and how events are created through the circular energy that moves from the inception to manifestation.

Our understanding of divinity is incomplete until we learn the full circuit that this energy flows or follows.  As the two dance and move one through the other in what seems a dual movement, the truth is that the entire world is supported by endless cycles of this dance happening at very small scales and very large ones.  I am of the mind that you can see the result of their presence in all things.  It is a center point of the creator that is buried in everything.  It is a point with no point but many points, a giant dizzying hologram where one piece cleaved from the whole contains the entirety of the whole in its smallest most seemingly insignificant drop or sliver.

Here is where this act can be your teacher, so follow carefully......

What you create is not necessarily ascended master material. In fact, there is a lot that we have done in creating that has brought terrible nightmares.  We have certainly created this, but you see, it is a gift that we have that we can do this.  This is just how important freewill is, and you can learn from what you create by stepping back and looking at the ramifications or results that your own creations have had.  It is true that what you create will be a snap shot of all that you are in this moment, of what you are capable of conceiving and as a result, the material that you have not yet refined in yourself will affect HOW you create.  THis is the tricky part, because in the same way that a clod of dirt in a hose will color the water coming out of it, so too does your own unexamined and more subconscious material color what you create.  Until you bring awareness of these things, you are caught in a cycle of creating with what that dirt clod offers and attracts.  You create, and that creation itself has a magnetic quality attracting all manner of things.  If an artist, what you create will naturally attract a certain type of viewer or person to it.  The life you create does the same thing. If you do not like what you see in your life, look deep within because there is something there that is effecting what you create, even if it is not intentional.  Philip in his gospel (found in 1945 in the Nag Hammadi scroll cache) said that these things in us make us do what we do not want to do and keeps us from doing what we want to do.  So true.  And thus, what you create will be a mirror of all that you are right now, examined or not.  The trick here is to develop awareness of ourselves, to see beyond the dross to what could be or at the very least that there could be something different.  When you reach this place, you are in a perfect position to begin the work that will enable your own consciousness to glimpse broader realms of your own being and of the divine cosmic order.  As we do this, it is as though we realize that it is we who are spinning the web of our lives and can better be able to heal and make the change which will bring us closer to creator which also has the benefit of highlighting the creator within us all.  So no matter where you are in all of this, you are creating the web as you go.  If you can step back and learn from your life and what you create, you can learn to create anew.  You can utilize the world and your place in it for great learning opportunities.  to do this means you have to be very honest and also humble.  If you are headstrong and feel you KNOW how things are, you will be less open to what may have ben eluding you, the blindness that sets in around each of us at each and every moment so long as the blinders stay on.

The thing for me is to realize that this circuitry is right here and right now.  It gives me pause.  WHat did I create today?  Did I help others to help themselves or did I use misplaced compassion to get them to a place I thought they needed to be based on my own set of rules or operative directives?  Did I do what each great teacher does, which is to remind others what was already within them to know and then be a source of inspiration, or did I just parrot a bunch of techniques or traditions just because someone else says that is the way things are?  No matter WHAT I do, I will always be making decisions based on who and what I am.  In this, I can be or do no other.  I am also a being both limited and limitless.  What do I choose to create?  I have a certain span of time here on the planet.  What does my own ego find important? What does my higher self say is important?  How does all this mesh?  How do I strike a healthy balance between all these parts so all of me comes along with no part discarded but healed and brought into its higher realization?

Thales the Presocratic philosopher said that all things are full of gods.  I very much feel that he was expressing a deep truth to the workings of consciousness and the world which is that even in the tiniest thing, there is a larger expression throughout many boundless realms and realities.  If it is true that time is largely illusory, and if what I feel is true, then time spreads out like a vast blanket and we can only touch one point in the physical at one time (at this time).....and yet by looking left or right I can see what other portions of this blanket offers. Perhaps an atom has endless manifestations just as do we, that EVERYTHING that IS is bound up in this fulfillment cycle that is the very basis of creation.  I know that might be a bit much to take in especially if you are used to thinking about humans being the only ones with self determination, a soul, or the ability to reincarnate.  But what I see in the universe is that everything is of a piece.  It is all connected and it is the essence of this connection, of what lies within it that serves to connect it to everything else that is a consistency within all of creation.  THere are no exceptions.  Of course this is what I perceive, what I sense in the Tao and beyond. For as crazy as it may seem, I cannot discount it, and I rather think Thales was right and that he was not taken to idle speculation when he had so few things to say, which makes what he did say all the more important to at least consider.  And once you open your mind to this vast realm of possibility you are standing at the headwaters of a very powerful river which itself leads to an even more vast sea which in turn opens into an ocean which is touched upon by the boundless realm of space.  So as I create, those creations must then have their larger expression through the conical nature of consciousness.....creation which expands outward, or spirals outward and upward.

Buddha was fond of stating how what we do in life matters, what we create in each day is important.  I think he is right.  I think that the act of joining the field of potential to meaningful and conscious creation is the very model for knowing the divine.  For as much as we might want to discount one aspect in favor of another, they are all connected and move evenly together. When we do this, when we bring awareness to what it is we are doing here, we also shed some light on our own actions and thinking that go to make up the divine circuit that moves from intent or potential to manifestation or realization.  I don't think they are complete without each other and just as the particle and wave in physics expresses an aspect of the same thing, so too does potential and realization suggest the completion of the universe in one seemingly insignificant drop.  So the world unfolds like this wonderful canvas and we get to create upon it!  What do I get to create? What juiciness awaits?

Manifest

When I first had my awakening experience, one of the things I was keenly aware of was this new energy moving through me.  It was conscious, I knew, yet I could not explain how I knew this for the fact that this was something that I sensed within.  We are notoriously distrustful of our insides, and if we are not busy feeling that way, we can also be uncertain about HOW we feel.  The truth, I think, is that most of us wind up being like a basket where we carry all sots of notions and feelings, good and bad.  Some serve us, some don't.  But sensing what you are is so very important for it leads to feeling more solid about who you are and what you are.  When you do that, I think that you reach a place of peace and in that peace you can feel things that might have escaped your notice previously. This was so for me in awakening.  It was as though some new channel opened up inside of me...like I had this great piece of stereo equipment but never touched this one dial.....and that dial seemed a big mystery.  One day, for whatever reason, that dial responds to touch and suddenly the volume moves up.  The sound is suddenly richer as this knob adds a whole new dimension to this marvelous piece of equipment.  The big a-ha has just happened.

I soon realized that the energy moving through me was a negative and positive energy.....one cooler or more receptive while the other was dynamic, directing and "warmer" in a way.  One moved into the other and both seemed to hold one another in an energetic embrace. This was the universe, this was cosmic consciousness. Using language to describe all of this or to relate to it can be tricky because this energy is without form even though it gives rise to form.  I have long believed that we have to be careful about the words we use because they create a nonspecific picture in people's minds that can be interpreted many different ways.  When I discuss art projects with my students in the sculpture class that I teach at a local university, I require them to provide a drawing.  I do this because my experience has shown just how poor words are at conveying information.  A picture is incredibly efficient, and it brings to mind the saying "a picture is worth a thousand words."   It was Philip in his newly discovered gospel in the desert of Egypt in the Nag Hammadi scrolls where he said the same thing, which is that we need to be careful about the words we use, for words create images and we then can become prisoners to these images.  So while it may sound terribly pedantic to you that I say all of this, it is important for reasons you may not even realize.  Words can govern how you think.  Words can free just as they can imprison.  I want you to consider that when I say masculine and feminine, I am being very specific but I am also being very broad.  I know that what we see here now in this place has ever higher expressions in other realities.  Our own awareness is capable of glimpsing these realities.  Thales, the Presocratic philosopher once said that "All things are full of gods" and I firmly feel that he was referring to what I glimpsed in the process of my awakening, which is that all of existence is multidimensional in nature and that what exists in us here exists in still "larger" scales of consciousness. Everything is connected, and it is this connection that allows for every part to communicate to all other parts.  It is what happens when you are able to manifest something in your life, too.  Imagine this quantum ripple that spreads out at light speed through all of matter, like some giant search engine of the soul to find the perfect thing to match your wish, to help you to manifest it.  I am jumping ahead of myself though because there is more to fill you in on first.

What I knew in the process of awakening was that the energy was a teacher living inside of me, showing me the one thing that as it would turn out, would be reflected in nearly every aspect, every nook, every cranny of existence.  It took a while to understand how this could be so.....and while the knowing came in a flash, it took some time to see how it applied itself throughout life. It showed me that it was like a two-stranded energy that wove itself through the center of all life, much like a necklace of beads is held by a cord.  It is this cord, you see, that is the essence of all life, is the soul of the cosmos, the bearer of life and light to everything that is.  And when I say "life" I am not speaking only of sentient life.  No. The universe is a living thing since its body is filled from top to bottom with this energy.  The difference is that most people simply are not aware of it.  The language of the cosmos is feeling, and this is one thing that you will come face to face with when you go through an awakening which is that you now have added sensing ability or awareness.  You don't just SEE the universe, you FEEL it.  This is what all the monks and sages and gurus have been talking about in relation to this seemingly elusive state that leads to samadhi.  When this energy filled me, it showed me how it was present in everything.  It was a yin and yang principle.  Just as in thermodynamic hot moves to cool, as positive moves to negative, so too does this energy in all things.  I very much feel that this principle can be seen reflected throughout the cosmos.

So take manifestation.  You wish for something, you let it go, and it eventually comes back to you as a fulfilled wish. Consider for a moment that as the universe is itself neutral, a kind of living canvas upon which you create your life, that the energy of manifestation is the result of two seeming opposites working together to help make your wishes happen......two energies that follow the content of your own energy to a "T."  This means that if part of you believes, for example, that you can manifest abundance, but that you may also have a competing belief that deep down you aren't worthy of it somehow, you send that out with each wish and you wind up with abundance  with strings or little glitches attached to it.  Maybe its a great money deal that winds up having some problem that emerges somewhere in the process.  Its that feeling like "I know I deserve good things, but it seems things always go to !*%# in the end!"  This is the result of some competing issue that is in the way that helps to form events, and the universe, being neutral, takes the energy as it comes and fashions you this event or opportunity in order to aid your fulfillment.  In dropping away the competing beliefs and resolving those things, suddenly your own being becomes a clearer transmitter of information to the universe.  The glitch is gone.  The "yeah but" is edited out of the situation.

But about this yin and yang, though.....

Consider that just as your own body has two currents of masculine and feminine that rise right up into the brain and crown, the hemispheres of your brain are themselves also formed and informed by this same energy.  The two energies cross in the head where the bliss of union is experienced by the awakened  yogi's and yogini's.  The left hemisphere is masculine, the right is feminine.  The masculine is linear, rational, and is most often good at language. It can pick out the tree in the forest, but his eyes glaze over when you look at the forest.  The feminine, which is the right brain, is holistic, intuitive, irrational, and sees the forest and can be bored looking at just one tree. Brought together, however, and there is a spark and a flame of inspiration kindled. Here great ideas are born. No, the right brain is not the artistic side because in order to make art you need a way to express it.  The right brain very much needs the left brain to help give it form.  The feminine turns to her consort and says "Oh I am feeling something so deep.....but its so deep that I just can't quite put it to word....." and the left brain is able to put it to word because that is what it does.  It is great at being able to hone in on one thing and identify it. Left alone, though, the left brain can chop and dice the universe until its so may little pieces....and it will only be able to see each piece, not how all the pieces go together.  I needs the right brain for this, the one who can magically conceive the implicate order in all things.  How she does this is not rational in the least.  Its almost like magic.  But together, they do a wonderful job of helping to create.  They are the very engine of creation. And when it comes to manifesting, I am seeing the same circular loop of the masculine and feminine energies working together.

When you wish for something, it most often comes about as a result of the left brain being able to give form and order to what it is that you want.  Here, there is a brilliant spark that is made, but this is all that it is for now.  This spark must be released entirely and allowed to go out into the "world" into the receptive realm of the feminine.  It is interesting because the Hindus often refer to the feminine as being the world.  Jesus, in the Gnostics texts speaks of the world as being the Great Mother. The native Americans call earth "Mother" also.  But what I am talking about is the energetic principle IN the world.....in all things......and as the spark of intention is released, it moves through the inner world and is nourished into existence, into full being by the body of the feminine force.  This can emerge as an object, event, or idea. The more that the spark can be utterly released, the better able it is to move freely through the universe to find its moment of conception in the feminine force.  Then, in perfect timing, the feminine brings forth this new thing that is the result of your wish, your hope, your intention. Because the feminine force is so broad, so infinite, she can give birth to anything in the same way that a woman will conceive and then give birth to a child.  This child might be short or tall, dark or light headed.  She might bring forth twins.  Part of what she will give birth to will be how the spark was sent, the content of that spark.  She is capable of bringing forth such a profusion of things, you see, and just as a woman can do this, so too does the mother of the world do this.  Her presence is in everything, and when you touch her with your intention, your intention winds up touching everything.  Instantly.  Holographically.  Events can take months to come to fruition and they can also happen in a flicker of an eye.  What makes the difference?  When you are able to release a block in you that is keeping something from taking place in the world around you, you may find just as I did that this is when the phone starts ringing with someone asking you if you would like to take part in an opportunity that you had been wishing you could be involved in for years.....and in that moment, the world didn't just align with you, but merely was able to receive the right message devoid of any competing material.  Maybe it was that you felt that you would love to try some new kind of work but that you might not be good enough at it......who knows really, for the reasons can be legion, and all I can do is pluck examples for why this might be so in order for you to begin to understand how this all works.  But when you remove the blocks, the energy flows.  And it flows from one pole to the other pole, from intention to manifestation, from masculine to feminine.  This, then, is the very engine of creation and manifestation.  When you can bring more energy through your system, this speeds up the process of manifestation as everyone who has had an awakening speaks of or experiences.  In fact, the lag time between through and manifestation can be measured in seconds or minutes, not days, months, or years.  If you can allow yourself to FEEL it as deeply as possible, as vividly as you can, you are literally magnetizing your own energy field so that the universe conforms to that image.  The more energy you move through you, the faster this happens for the simple fact that energy is magnetic.  Electricity creates magnetic fields, for example, and part of your own biological functioning does involve weak electrical fields. Your own iron rich blood helps to build and propagate an electromagnetic field around your body which we all refer to as the human aura.  For those who can see them, you can read all kinds of material present in thought, feeling, and even in the biological functioning of the body.  I know this because I began seeing auras when I was 18 and was a careful observer of all that I saw.

This is how your own brain works, two hemispheres in consort together to bring the light of inspiration. They are themselves manifestations of the yin and yang principle in your own body, in the giant filing cabinet and control center that helps organize information in your physical organism.  It is how you fall in love.  It is how new life is formed, and it is how the universe is threaded with these seeming opposites which in truth are aspects of one another.  In the particle/wave duality, we know that while these two states are different, they are one. I write about this in my book Waking The Infinite in terms of the particle/wave duality, and consciousness itself also exhibits traits that fit very well into the notion of the finite particle and the infinite wave.  We are both. When these two forces are in harmony manifestation can happen much quicker.  What happens when your brain works together?  Inspiration happens.  What happens when a man and woman are in harmony together?  Pure bliss.  When the two are in harmony within you, this union of yourself brings their union as energetic forces.  Quite naturally, this union creates ecstasy or bliss, and this is just what all the yogis seek and describe as the ultimate in self realization.  This bliss is orgasmic in nature, the very moment which is conception in the physical body, and which is inspiration in the energy body.  Normally, in the physical, this orgasmic energy is expressed or experienced as a release.  In the energy body, however, it is not limited and can build in potential in awareness so that it becomes a standing wave whose crest does not break.  As long as these two remain in your awareness in union, their energy remains as their very essence which is bliss. When this standing wave is present, all who awaken find that synchronicities and unusual events take place in rapid succession.  The world suddenly begins to be much more responsive in a moment by moment way.  Manifestation is now no longer just a spark, but is now an ongoing flow of events.  You are now living a life that is a discovery of what is possible in this new terrain. This is the engine of creation, and just as the creator's own continuous union within supports the universe, so too does your own continuous union within support creation at the level of your life.  It is true, then, that you are learning the basics of creation.  For creation to continue as a river flows without drying up it requires this same continuous attention.  The fulfillment is the result of your own creation. Again, Creation 101.

This same aspect can be seen as operating on so many levels.  Perhaps it may seem that all of this is just a convenient way to see things.  If you feel into it, perhaps you too can begin to experience this directly.  Everything resolves into the dance of the yin and yang.....all threaded through creation, all present at every level.  All is love, all is focused in this dance of gazing one into the other in the greatest secret that will ever be revealed to you.  It is, in truth, THE secret, for they are mother and father of them all.  if you know them at the smallest level, you know them at the largest.  Their presence as the mechanism for manifestation.  From the subatomic to the cosmic.  So when you are wondering why things happen as they do, consider the content of the masculine pulse and what it contains, which is the light of your intention.  It is both divine as well as karmic.  Upon its wave your awareness and intention rides.  Then, just as importantly, consider the content of the feminine within you.  The more free you
are from hitches and issues, the more at peace you are and the more peace will come to you.  As more peace comes to you, this becomes a naturally self reinforcing condition. Trust it, lean on it, devote yourself to it and always seek its grace, it unending capacity to forgive and allow you a path towards ascension, which is assured if you are willing to take it.

The energy is circular. It builds as long as the union remains  As awareness remains balanced on the quantum wave, you will see the presence of it in your life. This is the greatest love, the love that someone once told me "is you and the universe."  We are all connected by this. We are all this.

A Beautiful Way To See Energy

We can't seem to help but divide things out according to their ying and yang-ness. Its our nature to divide things up and sometimes even see them out of context with their larger environment....which of course tends to render the thing being observed as largely meaningless except in the most limited of ways.

But consider the act of bringing them together.

Male energy strikes me as being like a linear vector-based line.  It flows from one point to anther point.  It can be logical, simple, but very potent in that simple straight-line quality.  It also makes it naturally penetrating, vibrant, alive.  However, taken alone, its like a thread without continuity.  It is a light beam that has not reached any conclusion or remains just as it is like our beam of light travelling through space.  He seems to need something more.

Female energy is like a circle.  It folds in on itself.  It moves around to its end. It creates a perfect sphere.  It creates a world that is mysterious, hidden, even. It does not seek conclusion but resides perfectly well within mystery.  It is inclusive, focused on seeing and knowing wholes as  it continually nurtures and forms new things. But as such, it can reside within so much mystery that it has a hard time being able to discern just what mystery it is seeing.  This can lead to a feeling of inaction or uncertainty.  She seems to need something more.

When paired, the vector of the male merges with the sphere of the female and they change.  Their energy now is a spiral.  Each brings their own tendency into this unity and as the feminine seeks to turn back on herself, the male pushes her forward.  As the male seeks to move forward, he is drawn back in what is a perfect merging of the two energies or qualities.

This movement is a perfect model for consciousness, evolution, and all life.  It shows up, not surprisingly in all manner of life forms from seashells to galaxies.  The Greeks found that it is so pervasive a model that they were able to create something called the Golden Mean, which is a study on proportions.  The way your hand is proportioned has a relationship to the proportion found in spiral galaxies.  The distance from your nose to your eye is proportional to the rest of your body in a very specific sequence of numbers that are seen all through nature. The curve of a fern tip is reflected in the curl of a wave not just in similarity but in how the curve actually behaves.  Its more than just a similarity, it is a series of relationships that behave similarly through all of nature.  For me, this suggests a deeper relationship at work, a kind of masterwork, a design that is inherent in natural things. For myself, I see that this is the force of the feminine and masculine working together to help form and forge physical reality.

The spiral.  It is what we are in our most harmonious state.  Moving outward, moving inward. Turning around, speeding to conclusion.  

Kundalini

It is time to cast aside the conceptual veils that have served to frame what we think kundalini is.
For ages we have relied on what others in the past have had to say, never once asking ourselves if this is true in our own experience.  Because we have not, our experience has been informed, blinded even, by those old concepts.

Kundalini is said to rise....separate currents of feminine and masculine seen as two serpents moving up the spine.  Some have said kundalini is the feminine Shakti as she moves upward to meet the masculine Shiva in the crown.  I ask you, how have we arrived at this when it is so clear what is happening?

The moment you feel kundalini moving in you you are experiencing the Truth of the divine. The bliss you feel is their union from the moment they dive into your body.  They are not struggling to merge into one, they already are.  They are an extra temporal gift to your awareness in duality.  How have we taken what is one and made it two?  Because that is how we think. It must be man and woman, woman and man. Isn't that how it is in the physical?  How can man and woman be one?  How can yin and yang be one?  In much the same way that the Hindu tradition described Shakti AS kundalini force, raw and unrefined, she, according to the story, must move upwards through the body to reach her counterpart Shiva in the crown.  He resides there in perfected splendor. Now here is a perfect way to understand how your belief and your thinking can blind you and alter your experience.  Here are millions of Hindus who believe this is so, and others follow because surely they must know.  And yet, if the power of kundalini comes about from their union, then why must Shakti rise and perfect herself? Why is Shiva already perfect yet waiting for her?  Why would one be refined while the other is not?  The answer is cultural.  It is a patriarchal society and women do not hold the same place as men. Its just as reasonable to make an argument that its men who are the unrefined ones, for aren't they the ones who have done the raping and pillaging and warring to the tune of billions killed over the centuries?  Isn't it the women who most often have the civilizing effects on their families and culture? Don't they take the dull and drab and seek to make something beautiful of it?  The only reason why Shakti must rise is because of cultural bias, and this is very simple. When you look at the culture and ask a few reflecting questions for why something is so, your eyes begin to be opened. And why would people ignore the feeling of the union in their bodies and seek to reach so far to seek to fit a bias to a phenomenon that is perfectly clear before them?  Karma.  Karma blinds us to what is true. We wind up seeing what we want to see, what the karma itself has been telling us. It keeps us from finding the truth, for we are not being true to ourselves.  As long as we are not true to the divine, our eyes will be clouded and the experience of kundalini will be limited.  It will move through you, yes, and great things will come, but there will be limits.  Even the same gurus and sages know that karma limits.  When we are willing to take the step to see things differently, remarkable things can happen. An explosion of realization can occur, and awakening can broaden.  The engine of kundalini is the realization of their union in you. They ARE bliss.  They are nothing less.

What is different is your awareness. You feel kundalini rise.  You feel it ebb and grow. And yet who asks why this is so?  Even the most seasoned seem to feel its a great mystery.  It is no mystery at all. Feeling kundalini is like sitting in a garden and seeing the splendor of it all.  the sun beats down on you, warming your body, the water flows, the grass sparkles with dew and the flowers are arching into the sun.  Its wonderful. You feel a thrill just to be there.  You allow yourself to be inspired.  You are seduced by the moment.  This is kundalini.  You let it into your awareness more.  As you do, you feel it more.  The garden has always been there, its all in how you have chosen to be seduced by it. How you have chosen to be inspired by it.  A month ago, sitting on the same spot, the garden looked broken down.  You bore loathing and anger in you.  The sky looked dim, the water did not sing.  Everything took on a bleached look.  Was it the place that was doing this, or was it just you being disconnected from the thrill and wonder of it all? How you allow yourself to feel WILL have an effect on kundalini. It is IN you. YOU choose how to feel. You can turn on or you can turn away.  You can say yes or you can say no.  What you believe is possible governs your experience.  How you feel governs it to.  You can literally kill of kundalini by feeling so cut off and alone.  It happens to people all the time.

In each moment, the union of the two as one builds incredible energy when you give yourself to it.  When you do, their energy seems to move upwards through the energy centers, sweeping away all the junk from the past as you turn ever closer to the divine reality.  For an energy that moves at light speed, it seems silly to suggest it moves like a snake. It feels like this, yes, but its moving that slow IN your awareness only.  If given the chance, it would shoot right up through you.....and sometimes it does at light speed, for this is in truth the nature of its energy.  It is faster than fast, you see.  Its great truth visits each center in your body as you are ready for it, and as your awareness opens, slowly, it moves slowly into it.  The thing that is slow is your awareness, not the energy.  It burrows down into every cell. It bears its simple truth of unity of all things being connected through them.  They are the entirety of the universe.....all of it.  But to accept this truth, you must turn away from the karma and to the truth.  It is this action that begins to loosen the karma within you from the moment you do this. The more you allow yourself to turn from your notions of what you thought to something seemingly new, your experience can change.  Which would you prefer, a method for being that is aligned divinely, or one that is based on a myth with distortions and inaccuracies? Which do you think will get you to your own inner truth?

As you are better able to bear them into larger portions of your awareness, you become aware of them as present in that place within you in direct proportion to your ability to let them into that place within you, while they help you to realize what you are in the simplest of ways.  It is elegant, it is silent, it is gentle, and it is empowered. Its glance fertilizes worlds and gives birth to great possibilities.  It is here to guide and remind you of your simple divine nature by simply being in union.  As you learn to come into the same union within the arrangement of your awareness and being here, you fall into divine alignment with the universe. You realize yourself as IT. These are the cosmic parents modeling the one lesson, the one commandment that has ever existed.  So for some it is seen as a sexual union, for some that is how it is experienced, the heiros gamos.  But I say to you; they ARE this.  Already.  Always. Learn from them what their mere presence will show you.  Then ask how you can be like them and your life will lead you when you allow yourself to be led. Let what you think you know go by the wayside.  The more I was able to see these "two" as one, the deeper the experience.  Their bliss comes about from their touch, their eternal kiss.  This higher union that is serves as my one religion, my one sacrament, the one example for helping the earthly self to unfold into their great truth.  This truth is reflected dimensionally into other realms of experience and echoes through all things.   My own "higher" soul resides in the same way in perfect and continual union with its feminine.  He gazes into her as she envelopes him in a great soul kiss that is her entire essence taking him into herself, loving him and cherishing him in her utterly perfect way.  Their gazes are measured in centuries, their smiles in decades, their words are worlds tumbling out of them. This is the one thing I know to be true and real at the very core of what I am.  It is the place where all seeking stops and being begins.  It is also where kundalini can begin if you cast aside those old veils and be willing to see it as it has always been.  This is available to all if you can take it.

It has never been two.  It has always been one. it is time to feel this reality in order that each are known for what they are; equals and cherished.  A universe in one.

UPDATE (1/30/2013) :  My how time changes things.  I was having a conversation with someone about kundalini and how it was perceived in her awareness. I said it was so clearly a twin force in me, and she said "That is not how I felt it at all.  It felt like the GODDESS in me!  No doubt, absolutely, goddess energy!"  I did a double-take "Really?"  I asked, incredulously.  I couldn't believe it, but here she was saying this was so certain in her experience that there was not even a way to mistake it.  So I sat there, my old notions getting a subtle reformation.  the moment we experience something and KNOW how ti feels, someone comes along and changes that completely.  I think because I feel so certainly that this is universal energy that I think it must naturally be the same for each of us.  And I can't even say that I can figure out why it would seem like the Goddess for one and something different for another.  Anything I might assume might well bear the blinders that I myself am responsible for.  I could say to myself "Well, she must have some sort of filter or is blind to the masculine side of the force, then" and congratulate myself in finding the truth and put it out of my head.  And yet, people's experience MUST be important, MUST be heeded and used as the measuring stick until something else comes along to change that view.  If we rely on experience, then we must also honor it.  Even if it presents a mystery, or paradox.  

Popping The Lid Off Duality

Okay, so when you go through this awakening experience you become very aware of how your bliss is the result of a merging of two opposites inside of you.  I was aware of it as a refined intelligence that had suddenly started moving through me.  It had a sense of awareness about itself, but it felt so diffuse or so developed that the "I" was not there in the way it is with a person.  It was certainly there, no doubt, but this "being" for want of a better term was more like one of us far far far into the future when we evolve into earth spirits, sky spirits, guardians of vaster realms of energetic experience.  Not to say this IS what kundalini is, but very much HOW it felt which is perhaps to say that this is a higher order awareness, what I say in my book our future selves looping back into us, a cosmic hand up from out divine or cosmic parents.

You can feel their union in you from the moment this begins to move.  Some say kundalini must go UP the spine to be fully realized.  I say its fully realized the MOMENT you feel it.  Then, it sweeps you clean.  And then, yes, you learn how to flow into ever greater levels of INTEGRATION of that energy which is there in UNION from the get-go.  Realize, what I am saying is that the two forces of the divine masculine and feminine are not working their way UP to reach a place of union.....they ARE in union.  THIS is what creates the unique experience of kundalini.  And it is we, on an individual level, who learn how to effectively mimic this, or learn it from this cosmic parentage.  Its how ALL learning works in our world, so I use the analogy because its so close to how things work with awakening.

So, knowing this, we sense there are two poles in us that push and pull.  Really? We certainly experience that.  I say the poles are a seeming in a larger world of reality.  Here, though, through the magic of individuation, we tend to move from one end of the pole to another. We do this based on our own natures at the soul level.  Its a choice, basically. For some reason one soul feels more aligned with the inverted force of the feminine whereas another soul will feel more aligned with the extroverted energy of the masculine.  We then see the sexes, the natural kingdom dealing in all of this dual expression and we say, its a manifestation of something deeper.  But what if in truth, what kundalini is trying to tell us is that all of the sexual energy we feel, all of the yearning we feel is merely the result of being pulled from one end of the polarity spectrum?  And what do you think would cause this tension?

In awakening, when you feel ANY form of tension, what can you attribute it to? The literature is rife with this phenomenon of energetic tension, and its spoken about as leading to intense pain in the body only to find there is NOTHING in the body to warrant it.  Its entirely energetic.  What do you think causes this?  I say that the cause of this is our own misalignment from the deeper truth....and this misalignment is karma. If you consider that all karma is a miperception of what is true, you will realize that it is karma that gets in the ay of your being able to FLOW and integrate kundalini. This is all done in degrees and is not a sudden thing, but is more like a spiral than a destination. If you were to see it visually, you'd see a spiral going on forever.  There IS no end.  We just keep going, developing, opening, realizing our greater potential along this growing world of awareness.  We all accept I think that as you drop karma you free yourself up to FEEL more deeply into what this kundalini thing is. And what it is is simple; bliss.  THis bliss is a new level of being based on joy and wonder than the old modes of pain and loss. Its a flip.  WHat has been keeping your from experiencing bliss is karma. You THINK you are separate.  You THINK you aren't loved.  You THINK you will be abandoned.  Now just to make things interesting, in comes the Law of Attraction.  Remember, its entirely neutral, but once it hits you (well it doesn't suddenly hit you....its ALWAYS there....) but once it "hits you" you naturally find events form themselves around your expectations.  So in the case of a hard karma about loss, well the world will bring you loss.  You become a prisoner to your own junk.  Now that's hard. But kundalini is there, a kind of ace in the hole and it whispers "You have a choice....you have free will.....you can choose to feel differently......the path is forgiveness.....only this will free you.....you can't pretend your way out of feeling differently.....you must BE different....."

So karma is the material that separates us from our nonduality.  Its like mortar between two bricks that really don't want to be separate but ONE.  It LOOKS like the two bricks are separate through the wonders of the physical world of seeming, but in truth, the bricks came from the same seam of clay, were all made of the exact same stuff.  Deeper down, the bricks know they are part of something that makes up a whole.  Dissolving the karma results in settling in deeper to the Source of all life and to the bliss that pours through it. This bliss leads to a very different life, and I daresay its far preferable than living a life of loss, anger, sadness or fear.

So we tend to divide out from one pole to another because of how bodies have evolved to process this energy on a physical level.  We create more people through the process of our being individual and sexed differently.  We have all made this choice to do this.  We identify with a certain composition of sexual traits.  This isn't merely male or female, but also can result in a range of effects where people have a blend of traits, too, as in the case of gay or lesbian. Based on my own experience, though, I can say that there is  a polarity to this energy much like a magnet having two poles and attracting based on its opposites.

I have never read this having happened to anyone before, but some time ago I had an experience that involved what I can only describe as a momentary flip of my energetic poles.  This happened as a result of feeling into my makeup energetically.  While I do feel we tend to move into one end of the sexual energetic spiritually, I also note that we ourselves are a mixture of traits that we would identify as being masculine or feminine.  As a result of this, one layer is a MIX of traits. On another layer, we are polarized towards one end of the spectrum of yin and yang.  I would say for simplicities sake that the former tends to define your sexual orientation.  Again, I think its entirely possible to have variations inbetween where the identification between one or the other is less polar.  I don't think its a hard and fast rule, just that there SEEMS to be a tendency towards one end of the poles over another per soul choice.

In this experience I became aware that I was a woman living in a country that very much looked like Mongolia. I lived in a kind of hut or tent.  It was covered with the hides of animals.  We wore heavy clothes because it was cold most of the time.  As I felt into this through the eyes of kundalini, I felt something happen where my own sensing into my sexual energy experienced a sudden flip in my body.  There, in my life as a male, I could feel my energy change.  It was as though it turned itself inside out. Instead of a beam of energy projected outward, I was a shaft of darkness pulling inward.  I did not push energy OUT I pulled energy IN. What I experienced, though, was a bliss that was identical to what I had felt as a male. The only difference was HOW I felt it. Perhaps how it was processed, or HOW energy moved through me was different, but the feeling was about the same.  Looking out through her eyes, I could feel how fond she was of her partner.  He had rough callused hands from the work he did. He was kind of rough in a way, yet he was simple and direct.  He was uncomplicated.  His eyes were like a beam of energy that exuded a quiet sense of confidence.  I cherished him.  And feeling this, it was a revelation.  As a male in this life, I found that I did not feel weirded out in the least by this.  IN fact, I was overcome by the sense of love and intensity that existed between these two people.  I felt the same attraction I might have felt otherwise except the energy went IN instead of OUT.  As I felt this memory fade, I felt my alignment continued along the feminine pole.  I then observed that the pull began to weaken and I could feel the polarity literally shift inside of me, like a bubble rising to the surface of the water.  What happened through all of this, though, was an amazing amount of energy was liberated.  For days I felt the waves from this experience.  I think that under most circumstances because of our own fear, we never experience this just because we are somehow afraid it will alter us, make us strange.  We are, after all, some of the most repressed beings sexually of any species on the planet. Centuries of weird societal and religious controls that I think are entirely unnatural and repressive have kept us from seeing or knowing our truer selves.  It isn't that we are some kind of strange androgynous beings, no.  But even so, WHO says being androgynous is weird?  Weird to who? Snails are able to fertilize themselves.  Nature certainly makes a case for this way of being, so how is it weird.  Maybe its just outside of people's experience.

So here is the thing.....Jesus spoke about how he was one with the father and mother.  This is in both king James and in lesser known gnostic texts, so we know its not some glitch.  Mother was changed or used interchangeably with Holy Ghost. Most forgot conveniently what the Ghost part was all about.  But regardless, her was Jesus with the father and mother IN him.  He was ONE with them.  He was as much in the father AS the mother. And he was a dude, okay?  Buddha himself experienced kundalini, and here the masculine AND feminine were crawling all through him.  Yup.  The DUDE was experiencing the bliss of the WOMAN coming into (gasp!) union with her male counterpart.  Her is where I light my hair on fire and pretend to run around the room in mock terror. So her is the thing; I can FEEL what it feels for the feminine.  Being unchained through kundalini I KNOW what its like. Being connected through soul energy and soul connection, I KNOW how it feels. Its part of a deeper energetic merging that happens when two consciousnesses come together in this way.  If you go deep enough you can feel a sense of being in two bodies at once.  THIS is what consciousness does. It is not limited.  When I had a a past life experience of a native American vision, I was in multiple places ALL at the SAME time. None of this felt strange or even confusing.  If felt natural.  Only to our limited individual awareness do we dream such limited dreams that tell us we only experience life through one perspective.  Hog wash!  Energy flows. Consciousness flows.  Tantra, one of the highest forms of worship involves this very form of energetic communion between two people.  There is a sense of two becoming one less in body as in soul. How is this possible?  Divisions are dissolved enough to allow it to happen.  You are no longer weird about what it might feel like to feel another person feeling you feeling them. Feeling you. And them.  And back again. And this DOES happen.  Its not some weird glitch of the universe or the product of some depraved mind. When you get there, though, all of your old junk just drops as you see in a larger totality how the creation is perfect.  And in an awakening, you have BOTH of these polarities in you.  BOTH.

We have both in us.  We were said to be born from their union.  So if souls are made in this way, we are each a part of one and the other along with a choice for a given polarity so that we wind up one orientation or another. Curious, I think, because I sense that the amount or reliance on one end of the polarity depends also on how many lifetimes you have lived as male and female.  I do not buy that we are exclusively one or the other.  Nope. I can se and read in all people a blend of traits.  Some women who are very feminine also have some pretty overt masculine traits, and what is most interesting is how they themselves choose not to see them.  Something about the polarity of being convinced of just how feminine they are seems to breed this.  Women, though who are more of a blend where they do not define themselves so strongly along gender lines also have less of a problem with being one or the other. There are also all sorts of variations in between. And the same goes for men.  Some men are amazingly weird about any suggestion that they might have feminine traits. These men, are extremely polarized while also having a kind of repressed femininity.  Some men are very comfortable in being sensitive and nurturing. See, thing is, our worth is not tied to one gender or another.  We can be whatever we want. Quite naturally we have some people who will scream from the sidelines that we ought to be burned at the stake, but really, who is paying any attention to those folks anymore?  Do we? So the point here is we may have a polarity within our sexual orientation, but we will also have a blend.  We have both.  And I suspect that we need both because life force IS both. You just can't get around it. This I very much suspect is the case.  If you tease the masculine out from the feminine embrace in the universe, things would devolve into madness quickly.  If you do the same in the opposite fashion, the universe would go crazy in the opposite direction, but mad nonetheless.

So we feel all of this in separation.  Our bodies are separate, our awareness is too, or so we experience until awakening hits.  Gradually, we learn things aren't QUITE the way we had thought they were. And why?  Karma. As we dissolve karma, we bring those poles closer and closer.  Do we lose our sexual identities?  Well let me ask you, do you think individuality can ever be destroyed?  I don't think so, no.  I think that any imprint made will remain even if for some reason someone WERE to manage to slink back into absolute oneness.  Others would naturally follow, so its not a genie you can keep in the bottle I don't think.  I think the further we get from concretions of thought, the more flexible we are to see the universe in all its vastness.  Do I think that means you HAVE to be sexually flexible?  No. I still think we have the capacity within to still grasp it.  Now as to whether we embody it, that might be a different story.  But ultimately, the walls do come down at one point or another, and its at that point where there is no fear over what those walls even mean because they are now no longer useful in serving karma. But still we have choice because we have free will and because of these things, we do this out of individuality.  Some say its an illusion, but I say its a CREATION.  and THAT dear reader is a BIG difference!

So honor the masculine and feminine within.  They bring you bliss.  Its okay, the universe is making love inside you, big deal.....your parents obviously made love in order to make you, so surely some good must come from this love thing.  And a curious thing happens when you can ride the wave of this bliss, all those karmic issues that seemed so pressing aren't so pressing anymore....yet another interesting inverse correlation with karma and kundalini.  Kundalini: The Karma Killer!!!! (now THAT would be a GREAT Baliwood movie...a kind of double headed cobra meets dark mysterious overlord in Godzilla-esque scales as they fight it out over Tokyo or Varanasi).
Of course, anyone who DARES speak of things in such light ways certainly CANT be enlightened, so why listen to me?

Indeed.  Why.

IN the end, through all this, no matter where this all goes, it all ends in love. Its a trip you take that always leads to the same place.  I am sorry.  You are in the city of love.  You wake up, make the journey a different way and there you are; the city of love.  There is no escaping it. City of Love.  And while I am at it, that too would be a great movie title, but without the scale miniatures of city buildings.  This one would be the greatest of romances.

So flip or not flip.  We are all one.  But you do have both inside you.  Remember that.  You can't spell love without BOTH. Well, actually you don't spell love B-O-T-H but I bet in some world you do....
