Baby we all know this world aint for angels
its hardly fit for you and me

There will be a clear blue sky
by morning
a rainbow just to make it clear
this world has been a place  of suffering
how do we fill it with hope
when its  so full of fear?

The happiness
that we find
the love we beg steal and borrow
I'd like to remember it  as it used to be
as today slips into tomorrow.
